A little get away is always good!
Took another little get away this weekend. When Kylan got off the bus we were off to the beach again. Man what a difference 2 days at the beach can make in your attitude. Refreshed, Rested, Relaxed and ready for the week. We got to the beach about 9:00 on Friday night and relaxed around the house. Kylan found 3 kittens who were living at the neighbors, but when she got hold of them and fed them they moved homestead. Only 2 were tame but it didn't stop her from trying to train the third when she could get close to it. It was so funny because you could tell they were all from the same litter but they were small, medium, and large in size. She named the small one Hans, the medium Frans, and the large Peppie. Guess she had the French on her mind. Saturday I went fishing down at Pier Park at 4:00am, I can say in all my years of life last Saturday was my first sunrise at the beach, and wow it was amazing. Caught 4 King Mackerel, super fun, saw at least 3 dozen stingray, and 6 dolphins, one with her baby! Came home slept an hour and off to Wal-Mart and then the beach. Kylan was on the first sandbar and saw a sea turtle super cool, that does not happen often and the turtle swam over really close and stuck her head upout of the water. Stopped in Alvin's Island and Kylan got to hold a 20 pound alligator, scary but neat. The alligator handler gave her one of their bones in their back to keep and she has showed it to everyone. Dinner at Margaritaville, where Kylan laid over and went sound asleep in my lap, never mind there was a band playing when she did this. Spent most of the day Sunday swimming in the pool, and saying good-bye to our new cats, Hope they remember her when we go back. Took Kylan to Dusty's to eat Oysters before heading home, and she won 3 toys out of the claw machine. She plays every time we go there, and always wins last time she won a watch. Had a ball can't wait to do it again. Heading back in a couple of weeks. Wish I lived there, how stress free I would be.
